Licence Time and updates..

Well its time to re-new all licences and they are all avilalable at P.R.O.April 1 lands on a sunday so get it done before the weekend..
Salmon Fishing
  John had the hot hand this past weekend picking up a 26lb and a 9lb chinook just south of the Kents beach boat launch..John was fishing at 150' with a purple haze hoochie..The weather has been too windy for most,if we get a break here are the hot spots for early April..Just in-front of Westview is always good at this time,fish from the Harbour to the view pt.The West and East side of Harwood will also be steady,dont forget your crab trap..
Prawns
 All areas will re-open April 1st so get your gear ready,try and do at least 6 hour soaks if possible..Good reports from Toba as far as numbers,also seady around Texada..
Halibut
This fishery is now open and a customer lost a good size Halibut this past weekend off of Savoury Isl using a herring.Look for some nice Halibut too come in this year and watch for our Halibut leader board.
Lakes
April 1 st Powell,Goat and Inland lakes will re-open these are your best bets as well as Lois and Khartoum..Pick up your flies and worms at P.RO.
Boaters Exam
Stop in any time and write your exam and get your boaters licence the same day..
Firearms Cousre
Come in to P.R.O. and register for the next course MAY5,6..
Boat Launch
The new floats are in,this should make for a better boat launch this season,looking forward too it..
 The next few weeks it will all start too come together i'm sure we are all tired of the wind,now is a good time to drop off your downrigger for service,rods for repair and pick up some prawn and crab traps..I just picked up some nise prawn and crab traps prawn traps $25- s.steel crab traps$50 great price come on down..Sam Out...
